Relax and recharge your batteries

Do you actually know where the principle of the sauna comes from? From Finland, you think? Not quite, because only the term sauna comes from this country. An original form of sauna culture can be traced back to the Stone Age throughout Europe. Back then, simple holes in the ground were filled with hot stones and then doused with water. Even the Stone Age people knew about the positive effects of a sauna: muscles are loosened, sweating substances are sweated out and energy stores are replenished. Afterwards, the best way to get your circulation going again is in our Kneipp pool.

Cosy warmth in the farmhouse sauna

In our natural oasis, our 70-75 °C mild Finnish farmhouse sauna in the basement, where you can simply sweat away the stress of everyday life. The sauna is filled with the aromatic natural scent of native conifers. After a relaxing sauna session, it's best to take a refreshing shower and then give your body time to regenerate in the rest zone.

Relaxed views in the panorama sauna

It is brand new and ultra-modern: our 90 °C hot Finnish stone pine sauna on the ground floor of the Nature Oasis. The large window fronts provide a view of our natural pond and create a light-flooded, cosy atmosphere. The impressive room is filled with the aromatic scent of the forest and features a rain shower and Kneipp basin with relaxation area.

The highlight for couples: You can reserve the Finnish stone pine sauna exclusively for yourselves to spend a few moments of togetherness and relaxation.

Gentle and relaxing: the Kraxenhofen

If you are a fan of savoury sauna enjoyment, our craxen stove is just the thing for you. A Kraxenofen - a seating niche - was an integral part of a parlour in old mountain farms. In this country, the term "Kraxe" is used to describe a hay rack filled with hay. This hay is slowly heated with rising water vapour, which unfolds its relaxing effect. The targeted and moderate heat relaxes tired muscles after a long hike or a day on the ski slopes, and the natural scent of hay revitalises the senses.
