Seeking coolness in Trodena
Get out of the city heat and into the fresh mountain air. Truden is the place to be for anyone who enjoys hiking or mountain biking in summer. The Trudner Horn Nature Park stretches around Truden with its dense mixed forests and rich flora and fauna. Numerous hiking trails wind their way through the natural landscape and up to panoramic peaks. Most of the hiking trails are also ideal for cycling and e-biking. There is a charging station for e-bikes right next to our house. Popular excursion destinations are the three nearby Almen Cisloner Alm (45 minutes on foot), Trudner Horn Alm (2.5 hours on foot) and Krabes Alm (1.5 hours on foot). Popular summit tours lead to the Wisshorn or Schwarzhorn in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Slope and hut fun: Monte Corno Nature Park
If you enjoy spending time outdoors in the fresh air in winter, Truden is the perfect place for you. A skiing holiday near Obereggen guarantees cross-country skiing fun and piste magic on perfectly groomed slopes with great views. The Obereggen ski area is around 45 minutes from your holiday flat in Truden and comprises 48 kilometres of pistes. Another ski area, Alpe Cermis, is located in Cavalese in Trentino and is therefore around 15-20 minutes away.
Cross-country skiing magic awaits you on the Lavazé Pass with a total of 80 kilometres of trails for classic and skating styles. The Fiemme Valley, which borders on Truden, is also known as the "cradle of cross-country skiing": It has hosted the Nordic Ski World Championships three times, and the traditional Marcialonga race over 70 km has been held here since 1971. Every winter, the legendary multi-day Tour de Ski takes place in the Fleimstal. All of this is close to the Trudner Horn Nature Park and therefore to our farm.
